PACIFIC PALISADES FIRE: SMALL BUSINESSES YOU CAN SUPPORT

On January 7th, our beloved Pacific Palisades community began to face the devastating impacts of the ongoing fires in Los Angeles. Since the opening of our Palisades Village store, this city has held a huge piece of our hearts. We built every shelf by hand and grew close to so many wonderful people.

Bonjour Fête would not be the brand it is today without this vibrant, resilient community. To all those affected by this unimaginable event—we stand with you, brokenhearted during this challenging time of fear and loss.

BONJOUR FÊTE EMPLOYEES

We are heartbroken to share that one of our cherished employees, Emma Faramarzi, has lost her home. Emma lives with her mother, Marjan, a former Air Force cadet and single parent, and her sister, Arianna, along with their two beloved cats.

This family has called Pacific Palisades home since Emma and Arianna were children, and both sisters attended Pali High, just as their mother did. They are dedicated students pursuing careers in medicine and psychology, with Emma graduating from UCLA this May.

BONJOUR FÊTE EMPLOYEES

The mother of one of our beloved store managers lost her home in the fires. Amy Powell designed and built the home in 1992. It was much more than just a house, it was a sanctuary of peace, a hub for family gatherings, a showcase of the Tide Pool Gallery's seashell collection, and most importantly, where her two daughters Jamie and Chelsea were raised.

In COVID, Amy opened her patio as a hair salon to the community - welcoming neighbors into her own home on Hartzell and creating a haven in dark times, not dissimilar to now. They are raising funds to help rebuild her home and salon.

BABY 2 BABY

Baby 2 Baby is a nonprofit that provides children living in poverty with diapers, clothing, and all the basic necessities that every child deserves.

They are providing basic essentials to evacuation centers and distributing at pop-ups across the city, continuing to fulfill requests for essential items for the weeks and months to come.
