Ingredients:
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Original Crescent Rolls
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
- 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F and prepare your carrot-shaped molds by rolling sheets of tinfoil into cones.
- Roll out the dough, and cut it lengthwise into 1 inch strips.
- Wrap each dough strip around a foil mold to create a carrot shape. Bake them on an ungreased cookie sheet for 7-9 minutes, or until they’re golden brown. Allow to cool completely before removing the tinfoil.
- For the filling, combine the cream cheese, parsley, chives, lemon peel, and salt in a medium bowl. Beat with an electric mixer until smooth.
- Pipe or spoon the cream cheese mixture into each cone, and top with 2 sprigs of parsley to complete the carrot look!
Serve them on a chic egg-shaped platter, en voilà– the perfect Easter side for breakfast or brunch!

deviled egg chicks
Another adorable Easter recipe, these chick-shaped deviled eggs are just as easy as they are egg-cellent. (Recipe sourced from Natasha’s Kitchen)
Ingredients:
- 12 large hard-boiled eggs
- ⅓ cup mayonnaise
- 1 ½ teaspoon dijon mustard
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
- 1 small carrot
Instructions:
- Peel hard-boiled eggs and cut off the top third of each egg with a pairing knife, making 45-degree cuts to achieve a zig-zag look. Squeeze each egg gently to loosen the yolk and pop it out. Set eggs aside, keeping the lids paired with the bases.
- In a mixing bowl, mash the cooked egg yolks with a fork. Add the mayonnaise, dijon mustard, garlic powder, and salt. Mix and mash the ingredients together until smooth.
- Transfer the mixture into a pastry bag and pipe it generously into the egg bases. Place the top third of each egg back over its base, pressing down slightly to secure.
- For the beaks and feet, thinly slice a few rings of carrot, cutting each slice into sixths. Gently place the pieces on each egg, en voilà!
These charming chicks are best served on an egg platter. Be sure to have some small plates and napkins nearby for your guests to easily grab and go!
puff pastry easter nests
Here’s a baked good that looks almost too sweet to eat! These nest-shaped pastries are easy to make and look darling on an Easter dessert table. (Recipe sourced from The Little Blog of Vegan)
Ingredients:
- 1 puff pastry roll
- Nutella or any cream filling
- Frosting
- Powdered sugar

Instructions:
- Roll out your pastry and spread the filling on one half of the sheet, folding the other half on top. Cut small strips and twist/swirl them together to create spiral shapes.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until puffed up and golden in color.
- Pipe a dollop of frosting onto each nest and embellish them with mini eggs and a sprinkle of powdered sugar.
Both delicious and visually stunning, we suggest displaying your nests on a decorative tray. Feel free to level up the look by coordinating the colors of your mini eggs with the colors of your party table!

carrot-topped carrot cake
If you’re in the mood for a slightly bigger baking project, a classic carrot cake never disappoints. Topped with some quirky carrot adornments, this cake makes a wonderful centerpiece for Easter feasts.
Start with a store-bought cake, or follow this delicious recipe from Cake By Courtney. Then, follow these picture-perfect presentation instructions.
Instructions:
- Cut or bake three individual cake layers, making them equal in size. Allow layers to cool completely and prepare your buttercream frosting.
- To assemble, place the first layer top-side up on a cake plate or board. Evenly spread 1 cup of frosting over the layer, and place the second layer on top.
- Spread 1 cup of frosting over the second layer, and secure the final layer, top side up.
- Fill a pastry bag with more frosting and gently pipe it into the openings of each layer, smoothing it as you go. Finally, spread the remaining frosting on top of the cake.
- For the cake decorations, peel three large carrots and slice off the tops of each at varying heights. Place the carrots on top of the frosting and garnish with greens on top and around the cake.

Chocolate “Chick” Pretzel Bites
An easy and adorable Easter snack, these chocolate pretzels are great for kid’s parties and beyond! (Recipe sourced from Cincy Shopper)
Ingredients:
- 24 mini pretzels
- 1 cup yellow melting chips
- 12 chocolate M&Ms
- Mini chocolate sprinkles
Instructions:
- Prepare the chick “beaks” by cutting your M&Ms in half with a sharp knife. Set aside.
- Lay pretzels out on a wax paper-lined baking sheet. Heat the melting chips in the microwave for 30 seconds, stirring and repeating until melted. Allow to cool for 2-3 minutes.
- Transfer the melted chocolate to a piping bag and pipe it over each pretzel to form the shape of a chick. Smooth with a spoon if necessary. Place your halved M&Ms toward the edge of each pretzel to create the chick beaks, followed by a small chocolate sprinkle for the eyes.
- Place your baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes to allow the candy to set completely.
We suggest serving these treats on an Easter-themed tray or board, (take a peep at our offerings, here!) They’d also make a fabulous addition to a candy charcuterie board.
easter candy board
An essential for any Easter party, candy charcuterie boards are great for egg-hunting parties and Easter movie nights.
Instructions:
- Gather your favorite Easter candy and bite-sized treats. Here, we used jellybeans, chocolate cookies, and Easter-themed gummy candy.
- If you’re using a serving tray with separate compartments, (this daisy tray is petal-perfect), group your candies and alternate them across the tray.
Pair the board with some Easter party supplies so your guests can easily grab and graze!

Bunny-Shaped Charcuterie Board
A more traditional charcuterie creation, this fruit and cheese board is great for kids, adults, and every-bunny!
Ingredients:
- 1 box of large strawberries
- 1 cup of cut canteloupe
- 2 types of cubed cheeses
- 1 round red apple
- 1 handful of meringue cookies or marshmallows
- 1 olive and some melted chocolate for the bunny face
Instructions:
- Use a bunny-shaped tray and begin filling it from top to bottom, starting with the cubed cheese and ending with the strawberries. Group each food together and fill in any gaps as you go.
- If your bunny tray doesn’t include a dip cup, create one by cutting off the bottom of a paper cup. Fill it with your meringue or marshmallows to create the bunny tail.
- Create the bunny’s face by halving an olive and forming some melted chocolate for the nose and mouth.
